The scene: A playground. The characters: Georgie, age 3; Maddy, age 5; Jack, age 3, her brother; Francesca, their mother; Sabine, 4, Maddy's best friend. [Georgie grabs Maddy's dress, stretching it and constricting her neck.] MADDY: Ouch! JACK: Don't hurt her! [Maddy moves to hit Georgie.] FRANCESCA: Maddy, use your words! MADDY: Stop! [Georgie keeps pulling on the dress, stretching it further.] SABINE: THAT'S A NEW DRESS!!

Home sick

Poor Vivi had to be picked up last Wednesday at school because she had a fever. She was sick all weekend. Got a little better Saturday afternoon so we went to dinner at Louise's and got ice cream but Vivi was feverish again Sunday. Then Monday Sabine woke up with the fever. Hopefully Vivi can go to school tomorrow and Mom & Dad won't get it.
